KANDI CHAMPAGNE COOK
I take pictures and make things. I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and have made a happy life in Memphis, Tennessee with my husband and our fast little dog Rocket. In my free time I enjoy cooking, knitting and crocheting, painting and doodling, bowling, reading, practicing the ukulele, going on adventures, and general mischief.
I wanted to be a photographer when I was 8-years-old. I got my first camera when I was 10… I haven’t stopped since.
I’ve had work printed in various publications on an international scale- from album art to books and magazines. I’ve shown work at a few exhibitions around the US, have a couple of permanent installations and I’ve won some awards.
While I enjoyed working as a freelance photographer over the past decade or so, at the moment I am not available for hire.
