I take pictures and make things. I was born and raised in Baton Rouge and have made a happy life in Memphis with my husband and our fast little dog Rocket. In my free time I enjoy cooking, knitting and crocheting, painting, bowling, reading, and going on adventures. I wanted to be a photographer when I was 8-years-old. I got my first camera when I was 10… I haven’t stopped since.
I’ve had work printed in various publications- from album art to books and magazines. I’ve shown work at a few exhibitions around the US, including group shows at Needles & Pens gallery in San Francisco, Crosstown Arts in Memphis, and the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art. I have a couple of photographs on permanent display which can be spotted at the Hi Tone in Memphis and IU Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis.
While I enjoyed working as a freelance photographer over the past decade or so, at the moment I am not available for hire.
I collect cameras of all types; here is a short list of the ones I use the most:
Digital: Nikon D200 | Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 | Tamron 28-200mm f/3.8-5.6 | Vivitar 400mm f/5.6 | Nikkor 50mm f/1.2 and 50mm f/1.8 | DIY pinhole
Film (Instant, 120, 35mm): Polaroid 600 Onestep | Fujifilm Instax 210 Wide | Holga CFN 120 | Holga 120 (that I modified to use 35mm) | Lomo Fisheye No.2 | Lomography’s Diana Mini | Holga 135 Pinhole
